it’s kind of tough to realize
that you’ve pretty much always been laughed at
full of plans but the ship has gone
without guts, you can’t overpower anyone
it’s kind of tough to realize that
the obstacle’s always been in you
identity, it’s creating me
instead of me building myself
the fact of the matter is
i only got what i wanted through theft

i’ve imagined a world
but it was dull

and anything i’ve ever wanted

so now that i’ve embraced this
feeling i’ve got in my knees
i’m not laughed at
it is so common and i am common
amongst them
those i’ve hated those i’ve cherished
i never wanted to be like them
hope that i am not

ridiculed, left to perish,
my ego left in a bin
looking at all the success that people have
i don’t know what’s this envy
